TV paleo person

 Hey gang: Was watching the show Friends on NBC last night and found
 out that the character Ross apparently is a paleontologist! The odd
 twist is that the actor's name is David Schwimmer. Now there is a member
 (at least used to be) of this list by that name who is also a paleontologist
 down in Georgia that used to study trilobites and has switched to
 dinosaurs and the like (Gee, me too, although I'm still working on
 trilos as well, as David may be). MORE THAN COINCIDENCE????????????

 Odd, the TV character has an apartment unlike any paleontologist I know -
 no dinosaurs that I've seen, etc. My house is full of stuff as is the
 house of most I know. Further, the character seems to have a whole
 crap-load of free-time!!!!! Reality bites the dust again.

 Anyway, it got me to wondering if there is a Schwimmer connection here
 someplace. Any thoughts, especially from Georgia?
