T-rex as a scavenger
I have heard John Horner's theory of T-rex being a scavenger. He feels that
T-rex's stubby arms would be quite useless as a predator leaving him a
scavenger. However, I have recently seen a documentary showing a Kimodo
Dragon killing it's prey entirely with it's mouth. It had no need for arms
to hold down it's prey. The animal it was bringing down was much larger and
seemingly impossible to take down only with the jaws of the predator. This
modern day scenario seemingly contradicts the T-rex as a scavenger based on
the "stubby arm" theory.
Thanks for your time
