My apologies for continuing this "forbidden" thread on this mailing list, but
a few years ago, the Institute for Creation Research sent a biologist to 
Paluxy river to study the so-called "human" footprints. In one of the 
believable pieces of science the ICR has ever done, they admitted they 
were wrong, and that the tracks were indeed all dinosaurs. Geotimes 
published an article about it about five years ago (or was it ten?). I 
wished I would have saved it now, because it's a great reference for 
educating "friends" like yours.  Anyone out there remember, the reference 
date for that Geotimes article?

Not surprisingly, the ICR doesn't mention this study in their literature, 
and allows the rumors to persist, as evidenced from the beginning of this 
thread. Not a very "scientific" policy, in my opinion.
