controversy !!

I have become very confused by all this controversy about Deinonychus
myself, I would like to ask DW Naish just how far he is prepared to go on this
subject. I would not say that he is really in a position to quote the
Paull article as being the "TRUTH" about Deinonychus - after all he has NO
experience in the subject, has never actually looked at the specimens and
above all has never even looked at a copy of Ostrom's 1964 monograph on
the animal. This monograph may not be correct but should at least be
treated with the respect it surely deserves, a ground breaking piece of
literature as I am sure most people who have read it would agree.....
