Velociraptor
Another Velociraptor Question:
On page 277 of "The Dinosauria", Ostrom writes [about Deinonychus]: "No sternu
m or clavicles have been found, although these elements are present in
Velociraptor mongoliensis (Barsbold 1983a)."
But on the next page he writes of Velociraptor: "One or more of the specimens
include a sternum (but no clavicles), which has not been recognized in other
dromaeosaurid material."
So..... which is it? Did Velociraptor have Clavicles or not?
