This was a suggestion first made by OC Marsh in 1883, and more recently 
advocated by Bakker.  At presence, contrary to Bakker, there is no 
evidence to support such a hypothesis.  There are losts of unidentified 
eggs out there.  Some of them may yet prove to be those of a sauropod.  
Time (and study) will tell.
