My mistake

Paul is qu ite right: I wrote Ga (billion years) when I meant
Ma (million years).  I notice some of you guys have written
ma or my to mean million years.  The lower case "m" really
means milli, so that "ma" meanss a thousandth of a year, or about
8 hours.   "M" means mega, or million, "G" means giga, or billion.

The terminal Permian was at 284 Ma.

One of th ese days I must l earn how to edit these things.
