Re:Fossil Hunters indicted

We are all aware that illegal collecting of vertebrate fossils does occur on 
federal lands.  However, it is extremely difficult to convict someone on 
these charges.  My question is: has anyone ever been CONVICTED of illegally 
collecting fossil vertebrates (not cultural artifacts) from federal lands, 
and if so, what was the penalty?
