Making casts
Can anyone give me details on what materials are needed to make a cast
(plaster, fiberglass, or otherwise). The fossils I would like to cast are a
"Hypselosaurus" egg, an eocene alligator egg, and maybe a small mammalian
skull or two. I need the cast material to be durable (so kids can handle it),
yet able to create a high-quality reproduction.
Any suggestions on materials or references would be greatly appreciated!
