birds are dinosaurs
Okay...so I'm a Linnean...
1. Protoavis (late Triassic) is not complete enough and is probably made
up of parts from different animals (chimera). More material is needed.
2. Archaeopteryx (late Jurassic) an evolutionary dead end. One of many
attempts for the dinosaur to bird transition.
3. Later theropods (early Cretaceous) continue birdlike development.
