Re: Time Line

Can someone define some of the terms posted in the last Time Line?

> Last of the Pteridosperms
> First appearance of angiosperms
  (flowering plants?)
> First placental animals
  (a specific subset of mammals?)
> First Teleosts
> First rudists
> First globigerinas
> First grazing echinoids

The last Time Line also showed:
> Canada Basin opens (136Ma)
  (just beginning?)
> Canada Basin open (91Ma)
  (finished?)
This may be a dumb question for a Canadian to ask, but what is the Canada Basin?
Is it Hudson's Bay?

Can anyone add some of the dinosaur families to the Time Line?
