Well yes that is correct. The Alum Shales in this case, however, are part of the Whitby Mudstone Formation (Upper Lias) for clarity.

Alum Shale Formation is Cambrian to Lower Ordovician in age, and famous for its Orsten-type preserved fossils. Outcroups are in Scandinavia.
