ÂAllosaurus "new" species skeleton sells for more than 2 million euros in France
"The 150m-year-old skeleton, which is 70% intact, was bought on Monday by an unnamed French art collector, who said the specimen would be loaned to a museum."
(I posted a few items on this without providing links because of the DML ban on commercial fossils sales. Now that the sale has happened, the news should be OK to mention. Note that some experts have pointed out that the specimen could be a mix of different specimens, so status as a "new" species needs to be verified.)
