I usually compile a number of news stories before I do a post. Since this one has a local Seattle angle, I thought I would make an exception:
Paleontologists with the Burke Museum and University of Washington have discovered a major T. rex fossil in Montana. The fossil was found by two paleontology volunteers from the Burke Museum at a dig site in the Hell Creek Formation. The plaster-encased skull arrived at the Burke Museum today and will be on display in the museum lobby starting Saturday, with special T. rex-related activities in September.
