Re: Source needed - Rock Formations and their interpretations
On Wikipedia they started to collate the info at
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_dinosaur_bearing_rock_formations and
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fossil_sites, but the list is far from
complete. It's a good first stop to grab some papers tho, which as Tom said you
will need to do in any case, because dating a formation, paleoeco analysis etc
are dependent on good data and techniques, and such information as found in any
older compilation is often obsolete.

Yes, you are asking WAAAYYYYY too
much!!
You are going to have to do this piece meal. The 2nd Edition
of the
Dinosauria (specifically, Weihampel et al.'s chapter on
dinosaurian
distribution) will give you the major fossil bearing beds;
but you will
have to find the individual papers on each formation one by
one to get the
issues of their genesis and paleoenvironment.
