BIRDS ARE SCARIER
It occurred to me how one might feather a group of T.rexes .. or
rather .. color them in a movie
The bright colors of birds are fine on small birds but .. raptors
usually rely on contrast rather than on bright colors. It can have
the same effect. Concentrate on browns .. blacks .. whites .. even
grays. Dull ?? yes. But contrast changes everything.
It may be a little hard to imagine but try this:
A group of T. rex completely covered in brown feathers. Now add white
to the head, neck and last 3rd of the tail .. perhaps yellow to the
feet and distal part of the snout only. Can you see 7 ton "Bald Eagles"
on the loose ?? No "pretty" colors here .. just dull color contrasts.
Not so hard .. was it ??
