Rescued from truncation: One item we need to be very cautious about is asserting that Tyrannosaurus = rex hunted Alamosaurus of any size. That's because Alamosaurus is known fro= m early Maastrichtian sediments well before it is likely that T rex was roa= ming about. Whatever hunted these titanosaurs it cannot be called T rex. Ma= ybe it was Tyrannosaurus, but not T rex. The tyranno remains found in Alamo= s beds are too scrappy to diagnose, at moment am not entirely sure how big = they are. Just because there was a rock band T rex does not mean we have to= label every tyranno from N Amer that's big T rex. Nor as far as I know is it certain that any sauropods were out and about in= N Amer at or near the K/P boundary (which should be the M/C boundary, as t= he P/T boundary should be the P/M boundary but I digress).
