Re: The First Animals
Ediacaran fauna will most certainly be a major focus of The First
Animals--the impetus behind the documentary came from Patricia
Vickers-Rich of Monash University (she definitely got it off the
ground). Her research has been into the earliest metazoans from
Namibia, Newfoundland, South Australia and the White Sea region of
Russia. I'm not sure, but I think that the documentary will sort of be
a filmed version of her book The Rise of Animals.
