Prey thinks it's too unbelievable looking and so doesn't believe it's a real predator.

See, prey never met a chimera.  Nor fully evolved birds, nor black bears.

How does this play as camoflage? Color blind prey? Interference patterns? Be
interesting to see this in conjunction with foliage.
