Evolution + Teaching Position Opening

PALEO/EVO JOB OPENING
The Department of Biology, Drexel University in Philadelphia, is seeking to
hire a full-time Teaching Faculty position at the Assistant level to teach UG/G
courses in environmental and biological sciences for the 2010-11 Academic Year.
This is a 12 month appointment with the possibility of renewal. The successful
candidate must have a Ph.D. in Biology, Paleontology, Geology (or related
field) and must be willing to teach at the main campus in University City
Philadelphia and at our branch campus at Burlington County College in New
Jersey. Our 750 undergraduate majors may choose from nine tracks of study,
including tracks in Evolution, Paleobiology, and Ecology. We are seeking an
instructor with the ability to teach the following courses:
History of Life on Earth
Vertebrate Anatomy, Evolution & Physiology
Evolution
Ability to teach an introductory course on EvoDevo a plus
Other intro-level environmental science courses are possible
Demonstrated teaching experience preferred. Applicants are requested to submit
