While discussions of how and why people make different sounds is quite
fascinating, it's not dinosaur science.  Please cease and desist from
discussions of how and why people pronounce words.  Although I aim to
couch it politely, this is not a request.  Please see the second
paragraph of section 8 h of the DML's official policies:

what I mean by that.
