Mashed taters; hearty and filling. If prepared without milk and butter, it also 
can be used as wallpaper paste in a pinch. 

(To its defense, it must be said that *if* prepared with milk and butter, and 
topped with fried onion rings and good "bangers" or any other fried wurst, it 
is indeed a yummy and inexpensive dish)
