Some lizards secrete their eggs inside termite mounds, which the young have no 
chance of 
escaping by themselves (the termites repair the entry damage made by the mother 
long before 
the eggs hatch). The mother has to return to the mound at the right time to dig 
them out.

Any pterosaur parent that guarded their nest could have responded to 'chirps' 
from the impending 
hatchlings in the same way that crocs do, and dig them up at the right time.
