Re: Mesozoic Dinosauria Genus & Species List 2008
Thanks Daniel, I've incorporated all the changes.
I'll also provisionally include _Nedoceratops_ Ukrainsky, 2007 as a valid
genus, as a replacement name for the preoccupied _Diceratops_ Lull, 1905. I'm
surprised that Ukrainsky didn't rename _Microceratops_ Bohlin, 1953 as well.
Duriavenator_ Benson, 2008 is the valid name of the genus that has
_Megalosaurus hesperis_ as its type species. "Walkersaurus" (previously
proposed as a new genus for _M. hesperis_) is a nomen nudum. More on this
later, because the author of "Walkersaurus" continues to press his case that
his name is valid, and has seniority over _Duriavenator_. (It doesn't, because
"Walkersaurus" was never a valid genus.)
