How to cite a Sankoff/step matrix character?
I was just wondering if there is a paper with a character list in
which a step-matrix is indicated, on a character which is not linearly
additive/ordered, non-additive or binary. I just do not know which is
the proper way of writing. When you have a multistate additive
character, you simply state "additive/ordered" at the end of the
character, but with a Sankoff character of this kind I suppose you
would have to give the step matrix below the character in the
character list, although that sounds different from any character list
I have ever seen (I never saw any character list with step-matrices).
Thanks in advance.
