MESOZOIC TERRESTRIAL ECOSYSTEMS SYMPOSIUM

Dinópolis (Teruel) from 17th to 19th September 2009


You could visit superb Spanish Mesozoic sites (type localities of giant 
sauropods Turiasaurus or Aragosaurus, Lower Cretaceous Las Hoyas 
Fossil-Lagerstätte or several Tremp Basin-Upper Cretaceous sites) and the great 
Dinópolis exhibitions.
 
If you are planning your trip to SVP in Bristol, take advantage of this 
opportunity and visit Spanish Mesozoic sites the previous week.

FIELDTRIPS
 
1.- Fieldtrip to the Upper Cretaceous of the Tremp Basin (3 days).

2.- Fieldtrip to Las Hoyas and the visit to Riodeva (Upper Jurassic-Lower 
Cretaceous continental sites) (2 days).

3.- Fieldtrip to Galve and Utrillas-Escucha and the visit to Riodeva  (Upper 
Jurassic-Lower Cretaceous continental sites) (2 days).

 
STUDENTS
 
There is a reduced fee for the Symposium. 

Student Workshop: During the meeting students will have the chance of 
networking with the speakers directly.

After the scientific sessions informal seminars revising the tools for 
palaeoecological reconstructions will be held.

Those students interested in following and participating in the workshop,

We will certificate the assistance to the workshop and for the Spanish students 
we will ask for the credit recognition according to University requirements.
