Re: Richardostesia teeth

Are there any other animals that have both serrated and unserrated teeth
within a species?
Yes. Among theropods- coelophysids, juvenile tyrannosaurids, most basal
coelurosaurs, Microraptor and Graciliraptor.
Further, R.gil. (classic raptor shape, both serrated and unserrated) and
R.sp (straight isoceles triangle shape) are so different, I wonder why they
are both attributed to Richardostesia in the first place?
Because they both have very tiny serrations. So does Nuthetes, which I
believe falls into the range of Richardoestesia morphotypes.
