Re: lizard sounds
There are probably a few more that just haven't been
documented yet (there's a lot of lizards out there
that no one knows much about), but Gekkota is
definitely the only group (superfamily, clade, take
you pick) that has sound widespread throughout.
There are a couple of sites that feature sound clips
of various geckos.

It's interesting to note how many of these sounds
could easily be mistaken for birds.
