Outboard of the wrist pterosaurs would have been somewhat stiffer than bats,
moreso in a semi-spanwise direction than in a semi-chordwise direction.
Inboard of the wrist, pterosaurs may have been somewhat stiffer, but I don't
think that has been demonstrated yet.
