I'm speculating again, but I wonder if carnivores
change the mechanical advantage of their limbs with
increasing body size. For example, a recent study of
felids found that felid limb postures did not change
with increasing body size:

Similarly, Greg Paul has argued that tyrannosaurs
large and small had similar limb postures:

Does anyone know if felid limb bones scale
isometrically or not?
