As Chris Brochu has pointed out, we don't have enough specimens period 
to establish whether there are truly robust and gracile forms.  The 
available sample of T. rex specimens is niether large enough nor well 
enough controlled (for temporal, geographic, and ontogenetic variation) 
to establish normality of the sample.
