Thanks to all who responded to the request for help in indentifying the fossil from the temple of Set in Egypt, at the Bolton Museum, UK.
There is a tentative ID (hippo navicular), full report to come.

The curators from the Bolton Museum are investigating the possibility of access to the crates of fossils collected by Sir Flinders Petrie and Brunton from two ancient Egyptian shrines. The crates, shipped in the 1920s, have been languishing unopened in the warehouse of the Natural History Museum in London for 80-some years.

Unopened for 80 years? No manifest?

Could be mundane, could be pretty cool!
