 There might be a difference in not having a fused scapulocoracoid and
actually having a mobile joint between the two bones, in animals without
the fusion.

Of course; *Sapeornis* has an immobile-looking suture. *Rahonavis* and *Shenzhouraptor, however, are reported to have the enantiornithean configuration (peg in coracoid, socket in scapula) of a real mobile joint.
