Re: four winged Archaeopteryx



Archaeopteryx had a laterally facing glenoid and could easily elevate the 
humerus above horizontal, albeit not vertically as per modern birds. A number 
of 
other theropods could too, including but not limited to other deinonychosaurs, 
as I detail in PDW and DA. I also explain in those two books why 
Archaeopteryx probably was a reasonably good powered flier, its arms were more 
strongly 
built and muscled than the legs and were probably the primary locomotary organ.
