Re: PDF of the Coelophysis cannibalism paper



Somewhat saddened to see Rob Gay get duped on this.  He submitted a
paper on this very subject, based on his 2002 SVP abstract, just
recently.
C'est la vie, I suppose.

I wouldn't worry -- Rob's paper says some things quite different from Nesbitt et al., and in some instances provide another interpretation. Rob also looks at many lines of evidence that Nesbitt et al. don't, so his paper will still be quite valuable...really, it's only lost the distinction of being the first paper to examine the subject rigorously in a while. Rob's paper should be out in a few months in our Triassic-Jurassic Terrestrial Transition volume of the NMMNH Bulletin series.
