A favorite of mine, too, when it came out. Even more influential to me, though, 
was the slightly earlier:

Long, R.A. & S.P. "namer of Dilophosaurus" Welles. 1975. All New Dinosaurs and 
Their Friends From The Great Recent Discoveries.
Bellerophon Books.

Introduced me to a number of the then-recently discovered dinosaurs and others 
that hadn't otherwise made their way into the realm
of kids books.
