One more thing: Really, *really* big pterosaurs?



The "Really Really Big Pterosaur" the article is referring doesn't concern any specimen from the Isle of Wight OR any skeletal remains per se.
Since it hasn't been published (except for that muddled piece of misinformation we had a few days ago) I can't pass any concrete information... however I have seen the material, the research is solid and accurate and comes mostly from a collaboration between well known European pterosaur researchers that will be publishing it (hopefully) soon.


Yes there were (in all probability) pterosaurs with more than 20 or 25 meter wingspans.
