free new on line journal, PalArch, (http://www.palarch.nl/contents.htm), 
includes a couple of rare illustrations, Figures 5 and 6, depicting 
intraspecific aggression between pairs of _Archaeopteryx_ and _Proavis_ 
respectively.  These images, from the 1916 Danish edition of _The Origin of 
Birds_ were replaced with peaceful images of the animals in the English and 
American editions that were published a decade later.
