Well, I did say it depended on the etymology. Yes, if the second element is
_klEs_ (E for eta), then the family name would be _pterokleidai_, one possible
transliteration of which would be "pteroclidae". Incidentally, the
second-to-last syllable (or penult) would have a long vowel and would thus
attract the stress in Latin: ter-oh-KLY-day (KLY rhyming with "sky"), rather
than ter-OK-lih-day.
