A) Not the big new idea these people seem to be claiming.
B) If Birds have chromosomal sex determination, isn't it parsimonious to
suggest that dinosaurs did too (or, at least, theropods)? ISTM that such a
thing would be an _awfully_ big derived characteristic (if I'm using the
term correctly).
C) If turtles and crocs survived due to their close association with water,
then why did all the oceanic mega-fauna associated with dinosaurs die out
too (especially since some are presumed to be viviparous, yes?)?
D) You can run as complex and detailed a simulation as you want...but if the
premises are screwed up, then you've failed before you even began.
