Clovis hunters

First up, apologies for any cross postings.

I have a couple of questions about Clovis hunters. In illustrations, they
are typically shown with native american features, and beardless. With the
current ideas about them arriving by boat from Europe, is it possible they
had facial hair?
Secondly, what kind of environment did they live in? Some pics show them
knee-deep in snow, trudging across glaciers, while others show a more
savanna-like, warm plain environment.

Any information will be gratefully received!
