New Sea Turtle Book

       I just want to alert you all to an unusually beautiful new book about 
sea turtles,_Sea Turtles of the World_by Doug Perrine (Voyageur Press). Doug 
is one of the finest marine photographers around and he has a knack of getting 
particularly nice light effects in his shots. Their are some excellent photos 
of leatherbacks at sea, something I've always looked for. There is a brief 
section on fossil forms which includes one of my old chestnuts and a Dave 
Miller
