If _Neovenator_ shares more recent ancestry with _Carcharodontosaurus_ than
with _Allosaurus_, _Sinraptor_, _Monolophosaurus_, or _Cryolophosaurus_, then,
unless I'm mistaken, it *is* a carcharodontosaurid (sensu Sereno).
