Incidentally, Dan Chure's monograph on Allosaurus (which should be out soon)
does a MAJOR revision of the species taxonomy of the genus.  It includes the
first real study of the supposed distinctive features of previously named
species.

I'll leave it to the time of publication of this work to discuss Chure's
evaluation of "whitei"...
