Missing caption in Chiappe and Witmer

I'm just beginning to work my way through "Mesozoic Birds" (which 
fortuitously arrived on my birthday).  Great stuff - but can someone help 
me with the figure on page 43?  The cladogram labelled "C" is not 
identified - it contains the rather startling statement that Confuciusornis 
is included in the Alvarezsauridae!  What the heck is that about?  I can 
find no reference to it in the text.
