Dinosaur survivorship curves?
I'm studying for my ecology exam and a question just popped into my mind
- has anyone ever tried constructing some theoretical survivorship
curves for dinosaurs? As impossible as it would be to determine, I can
just imagine something like _Brachiosaurus_ exhibiting a Type III curve,
where the death rate is high for juveniles and decreases considerably
for the adults as they grow larger; somewhat like modern-day sea
turtles.
If nothing else, it's interesting to think about and certainly helpful
when I'm studying.
Wish me luck!
