Here is dictionary definition of >scansorial<:

"1. capable of or adapted for climbing, as the feet of certain birds, 
lizards, etc.
2. habitually climbing, as a woodpecker."

Says nothing about limbs versus trunks. Also note use of woodpecker as 
>example< of scansorial animal.
