Archosaurs of a feather
The current Science (3/9/01) has an interesting letter from Richard Prum on
"_Longisquama_ Fossil and Feather Morphology." (He says that the appendages
are not feathers for a variety of reasons.) Dave Unwin and Michael Benton
continue in the same "vane" in a separate letter rejecting the Jones et al.
conclusions. Jones et al. respond that yes, they are feathers and yes, it is
an archosaur.
