Re: Bambiraptor (middle ground approach?)



Since specimens = data, losing the specimen = losing all of the data.  We
can maybe preserve a copy of some of it, but to me that is not enough.

...not to mention that photographs and casts canNOT replicate internal details -- histological, microscopic, pneumatic, etc. features from the insides of fossils won't be picked up in a cast of the external features.
