Dear all

sorry that this e-mail is only obliquely on subject. I've been asked by the
publishers Orion if any of my virtual mates (that's you) review
palaeontology/ecology/evolution/general science books for magazines and
journals. Publishers tend not to employ scientifically trained staff, so
they invariably find it difficult to direct science books to the right
reviewers and organs. If you'd like to be on their list for such purposes,
let me know your name, field(s) of interest and the magazines etc. in which
you do or would like to write reviews. I'll then pass on the information.

Just to ensure complete transparency, the request arose out of discussions
with Orion about my forthcoming book, so you might receive a request to
review it (which, of course, you can refuse).
